Causative Passive

Remember:
The causative in the passive voice has the following structure:
1. For GET and HAVE: usually used with professional services.
I went to the bank to have my cheque cashed.
I got my car washed and the oil changed.
GET/HAVE plus SOMETHING plus PAST PARTICIPLE (by someone)
Usually, we know who is doing the professional service so the BY SOMEONE is not required.

How do we use the Past Perfect Continuous Tense?
The past perfect continuous tense is like the past perfect tense, but it expresses longer actions in the past before another action in the past. For example:
•Ram started waiting at 9am. I arrived at 11am. When I arrived, Ram had been waiting for two hours.

Verbs in English can be classified into two categories: stative verbs and dynamic verbs. Dynamic verbs (sometimes referred to as "action verbs") usually describe actions we can take, or things that happen; stative verbs usually refer to a state or condition which is not changing or likely to change. The difference is important, because stative verbs cannot normally be used in the continuous (BE + ING) forms.

What is Europass?
Whether you are planning to enrol in an education or training programme, looking for a job, or getting experience abroad, it is important to be able to make your skills and competences clearly understood.
Europass is a new way of helping people to:
- make their skills and qualifications clearly and easily understood in Europe (European Union, EFTA/EEA and candidate countries);
- move anywhere in Europe.
Europass consists of five documents:
two documents (Europass curriculum vitae (CV) and Europass Language Passport) you can fill in yourself; and
three other documents (Europass Certificate Supplement, Europass Diploma Supplement and Europass Mobility) filled in and issued by competent organisations.
